Understanding Streamed OSC Data

Post by danielleamya »

Hi,

I am trying to use a Muse 2016 headband to track brainwave data.
Currently I am receiving data to my computer using the muse/elements/delta_absolute, etc values to capture the data, but I can't quite find the documentation that explains what it all means.

For example, generally these values hover around -1 - +1. I was expecting to see numbers that reflected the brainwave ranges in Hz, but I guess this assumption is incorrect. Any guidance on how I should be intrepreting these values?

Thanks.

All the OSC data information in on the website here:
https://mind-monitor.com/FAQ.php#oscspec

Brainwaves are of a fix frequency range (Hz). The value is their power spectral density.
