Can you view the live EEG graphs without internet access?

Hi James.

I'd like to buy the muse 2 + your mind monitor app to allow me to view my ongoing brain activity during meditation sessions.

Does your app need access to online servers to display this live EEG data onscreen?
If it works without internet access it is an instant buy for me

I have access to both an IOS and android phone, if that matters.

Follow up question:

is it worth paying extra for the Muse S over the Muse 2 if I only plan to use the device for live meditation feedback?
Money is no object for me but I don't want to spend more if I dont need to for my use case.

The Muse S is much more comfortable. With the Muse 2, you have to use the ear hooks to clamp the device to your head. I'd go with the S.

No Wi-Fi needed for live EEG? That’s a win. If you're just using it for meditation feedback, the Muse 2 works fine, but if comfort matters (especially for longer sessions), the Muse S is the way to go. No ear clamps = no distractions. If money's no issue, might as well go for the comfy option.
