Tracking electrodes separately
Hi, Is there a way to track the temporal inputs separately from the pre-frontal ones? I'm just wondering if I can separate signals from the PFC and the Temporal Lobes to view differences in the functioning of those structures under different conditions (PFC executive function, Temporal Lobes languag...

Re: Meaning of lights on Muse S
I tracked my usual nightly lying awake last night, on my iPad, and got this graph. I stopped using my Huawei phone as it was completely losing the connection with the Muse after a couple of hours. Looks like there were 3 disconnects. I did notice the lights flashing three times during that period. W...

Meaning of lights on Muse S
Hi James, I recorded some brain activity last night and noticed the lights on the Muse S were on all the time, which they aren't with the Muse App. On a couple of occasions, they started flashing. I'm not sure if it was the Muse or Mind Monitor that decided to flash the lights or what that meant. Ca...

Frequent bad fit messages
Hi All, I have the Muse S and yesterday I was able to record a 40-minute meditation with only one Bad Fit message. This morning I want to track my brain while I work quietly at the computer, but the horseshoe appears regularly. Does this indicate a bad fit each time it appears? When the horseshoe ap...

Are resources available on interpreting EEG data?
Hi, I'm assuming that if my goal is to feel calm that will be reflected in lower activity at high frequencies. It seems that gamma-related activity goes down when I relax. Not sure if this confirms this, but I'm looking for some detailed information on how to understand the various graphs in Mind Mo...

Re: Spike at 60 Hz
Just noticed that spike at 60 Hz is there even when I'm not wearing the muse. In that situation there are also several other persistent spikes but not the other two I mentioned. Can someone explain what the Muse is detecting when it's not being worn?

Spike at 60 Hz
Hi All, I started using Muse and Mind Monitor yesterday. I noticed there's a noticeable spike at 60 Hz that hardly moves. Could this relate to the North American AC power supply? There are also smaller persistent spikes just below 24 Hz and above 40 Hz. Does this indicate a fault in the hardware? mu...
