High delta while awake

Hi,

I'm new to all of this, as I got my Muse 2 the other day.
I'm trying to figure out if it's accurate and all, as it seems to me that when I do 3 meditations in a row on the app, I get wildly different results (10% calm / 50 % calm etc).

I used the mind monitor app and this is my graph. Here I'm wide awake, researching this stuff and mildly anxious. Is this normal? I tried fitting the band in many ways to get good signal quality, but this ends up being the result each time.

Grateful if you could provide some insight.

High Delta while awake is a result of poor sensor contact. The EMG (muscle movement) interference is picked up as Delta as this is the lowest frequency wave. To check for good sensor contacct, switch to the RAW EEG view and try to get the voltage variance under 50uV with thin crisp lines. You should only see spikes when you blink.

Hi I have the same issue, I did try diagnosing and changed to 50uV and pic related is what I got, I did blink in the middle to test.

Figured it out, I had tension in my forehead which results in elevated Delta and gamma readings, after a bit of fiddling I figured out that frequent lateral and vertical eye movement also interferes.

Delta is supposed to be shown as the highest only when we sleep right? or in people with ADHD and other disorders, even sleep disorders..?
