Analyzing Graph

Post by currahee »

Hi,
I'm on a simple experiment using this app, and I got several questions while analyzing data.

(1) What is the Y axis of the CSV recorded graph?
(2) Is it possible to know the exact data of frequency(Hz) change of each brain wave using the app?
(3) I also want to know what the number such as 'Delta 88dB' in the absolute graph means.

Thank you for developing an amazing app!

#1 - The Y axis depends on which chart you're talking about, but assuming you're talking about the default one showing brainwaves, then the answer would be Power Spectral Density (bels/dB).
#2 - The frequency of brainwaves does not change, it's the power level of the range that changes. See the help: https://mind-monitor.com/Technical_Manu ... h_absolute for the ranges.
#3 - That means the Power Spectral Density of your Delta waves is 88 decibels. :-) .. but that also is highly unlikely unless you are in deep sleep, so it probably means you have poor sensor contact, sorry!
