Analysis of Spectrograph

Post by aakash_1111 »

James, I saw one of your post you saying:
"The spectrogram is the discrete frequency graph plotted over time. The more red, the more brainwaves at that frequency".

I have few questions regarding this, when you say more red , more brainwaves at that frequency, which brain waves will that be? (I see the graph from 0 to about 60 Hz, so when it is red, which fq it is? what about the other colors at the same time when I see red?)

1- Like, if there is more blue, or green or yellow, what brain waves are more at that frequency?
2- How does the color gradient matter, what exactly does it indicate and setting it to different gradient chnages what? and what does it mean?

Sorry if I am bothering you with my questions, just want to understand what it all exactly shows or means...

And really thank you and appreciate for all the work and help.

The spectrogram shows the same data as the discrete frequency graph, the only difference is that it logs the level as colour scrolling upwards.
The frequency is the x axis and amplitude is the colour.
If you hold two fingers on the graph you can see and set the colour range min+max by moving your fingers on the screen.
