connecting mind monitor to museLab

Hi,
We are working on a project and we encounter difficulties to connect the Mind monitor to the muselab (from the port TCP/udp 5000 but there is no response (no information on the graph, no incoming msg).
If you have any idea what's going wrong, we will enjoy!

If you're using a university/school network, be aware that a lot of university networks block all UDP traffic. This is because in the 90's a lot of LAN games used UDP for communications.
I would check with your IT department if this is the case.
The other thing to check is the firewall on your receiving Mac/PC. You may need to manually allow incoming traffic to UDP port 5000.
As a test to see if the school/university network is the issue, you can set up a Wifi HotSpot on your phone and then connect your Mac/PC to this directly.
Lastly, make sure that your phone is sending to the correct IP. Set the OSC Target IP to the PC's local IP. You can find the IP of the Windows PC by typing the command "ipconfig" in to the command prompt. The local IP will likely start with 192.168.x, or 10.x.x.x
