Hi Brian, actually I cannot tell you something specific. It just worked at some point. But I am not satisfied. Streaming cuts off too often and I still cannot record the data. I plan to reinstall everything at the weekend completly new. If you want, we can exchange some information. I wonder that there are not many threads, info or guides about this topic.

Hi Thanks for the reply. Just this minute got the connection working! I had the wrong IP address in muse monitor... I'm working with a mac but I'm happy to share any help I can. I'm working on an immersive video feedback system, I'm going to experiment with sending OSC from muse to a VJ mixer, I'm starting with a demo version of Pro Video player. I have very little programming knowledge but I'm assured I won't need to write any code with this setup.

Regarding compatibility with the 2014/2016 headband, this only affects Muse-IO.
...
Then you obviously also have the option to use Muse Monitor for sending the OSC stream.
What about Muse 2? Is MuseLab compatible to Muse 2, and can Muse Monitor be used to sending the OSC streams to Muselab with Muse 2?

Muselab has an option for an outgoing forwarding address. Is the outgoing stream of Muselab also an OSC stream?

So it s not possible to use the Muse Lab streaming through option as an alternative to Muse IO?

I miss a PC application for the Muse which has several windows similar to the OpenBCI solution form Hofstädter Krisztián :

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRNLQbZOVrs&t=38s

to optain an optimal signal quality during data aquisition. In Matlab it should be possible to assemble such a configuration. Until a Matlab interface drops from the heaven, a workaround could be a smartphone with HDMI output for Muse Monitor and Muselab connected to Muse Monitor via wifi to have a second screen for visualizing raw data.

Although Muse SDK is not available anymore, I found an alternative download site here, which is working:

That's the old SDK site for the 2014 Muse. Interesting read though.
