There are already some devices that even now can not handle the amount of data that the Muse 2 creates! The Huawei P10 and P20 for example can not keep up with the data and as such I have blocked them from installing Mind Monitor on the Google store.
Also, If you use AirPods on some iPhones the Muse data gets cut off, so you must use wired headphones.

That s a pitty. The GARMIN watch is really a great device, and is underestimated. Dave Lusty was the first to introduce a cloud for data streaming for the GARMIN watch. Did you think about streaming muse data over a cloud?

I don't like the privacy issues of hosting brain data in a cloud. If people want to do that with their own data, they can, but I won't be doing it.

There is a path from the GARMIN to MATLAB and PYTHON, I think it is encrypted. It goes from the GARMIN to the EventHubApp to the GARMIN Connect App the the Azure EventHub to Microsoft Power Pi to the Dave Does Demo Demo Software and from there in theory via RestAPI or lab streaming layer (LSL) to MATLAB or Python.

I miss a Computer Scientist to make this wonderful live-stream made easy.

Or a non-Computer Scientist who does it for fun and in his spare time, like I do.

Me personally, I would also prefer a buffered non-cloud solution. The GARMIN data can be pulled out from the EventHubApp or from the GARMIN connect app. The GARMIN watch and the MUSE headband fit together quiet good, in my view. Vivoactive 3 watches can be bought on ebay very cheap, since most people use it only for a short time.

What about two smartphones with two Mind Monitors in parallel? One with a Muse headband, one with a Garmin watch, and a dual LSL stream to BCILAB?

A new application Heart Monitor derived from Mind Monitor? Scientists and GARMIN users would love you for it.

The Muse headband has 4 sensors, the Polar OH1 heart rate sensor has 6 optical sensors, so it s much more superior.
