I was wondering how the signal quality data that is displayed in the horseshoe gets determined? Is this data collected from the device or some calculation you do for the mind monitor app specifically? If it is from the device, do you per chance know what it is doing to get these values? If it is your own calculation, how are exactly are you deriving these values?

It's calculated by looking at the variance of the RAW EEG signal. The lower the variance the better the signal quality. I don't do this calculation myself, it's supplied by the Interaxon SDK code.
