recorded files are gone after saving
recorded files are gone after saving
So after recording I want to export with "Total Commander" on Android. I click save (an existing file is overwritten). But then if I look in that directory the file is gone! If I save as a different filename the file remains. What's the problem here? I just lost an hour of "important" data because of that error.
Re: recorded files are gone after saving
On Android, Mind Monitor uses the phone's default downloads folder to temporarily store the recording files before passing them to whatever cloud storage/ file sharing app the user selects. Then when you close Mind Monitor, this temp file is deleted.
I think what you likely did was to select to save the file in the same place as this temp file. That's why you're getting the message about an existing file being overwritten.
If you want to keep the recordings on your device, then you can rename it as you already know, or make a new folder to store them in.
I would highly recommend that you use something like Dropbox to save your files, then they can automatically sync to your Mac/PC, for easy viewing on a big screen.
