Just a note that this is working pretty well for me. The ingredients are:
- Windows 10 laptop;
- 2016 Muse with electrode;
- Blue Muse open source app to stream LSL from the Muse (you could theoretically use Mind Monitor but I had more luck with this);
- Python script to route the data stream to OSC;
- Neuromore open source neurofeedback software;
- MAX sound processing software to provide sound feedback (free trial, then $10 a month).
I did not resolve the calibration issue mentioned by the OP but so far I'm not seeing any real issues with the neurofeedback - it seems to work at various sites and with various frequency bands.
