Power Band values / Forum search broken ...

Post by debra peri »

Hello,

I'm trying to search the forum for detailed information of the values MM is outputting for the Power Bands, e.g., are they logarithmic values?

But the forum search engine is a bit cranky, doesn't like any of my search terms (see screenshot).

Someone on the FB Muse page asked and I've been wondering as well. I use the values 'as is', no log/non-linear transformation, I assume they are linear and "normalized" within a value range of apx. -2.0/+2.0.

Can you provide some details on the topic?

Thanks,
Debra

They are the log sum of the PSD for the range. But you are correct, you can just use them as is. You don't need to do anything too them.

OK. So these are values that are being calculated by Interaxon's SDK, correct?
