My confusion was the result of control not being enabled by default in Muse LSL, so commands to change the headset to a preset that included thermistor were ignored. I have it working now!

Aye, the data is easy to reproduce, but thermistor data is meaningless - i believe - unless you know the type and characteristics of the exact model in use. - J

Thermistor Data Decoding
I've got the thermistor data streaming from my Muse S (gen2) but it's non-sensical at any bit depth. I then looked into thermistors and holy schniekes they are new to me. Basically it appears likely that in order to decode the data, we have to know the model of thermistor and its properties? Dagnabb...

I've asked them for their plans for an SDK, will share what I hear. I actually have no idea what fNIRS is capable of! Must study... : )
