I tried again today after reading some of the other forum posts. I made sure to keep my forehead as relaxed as I could, and put the band a little higher up. The delta is lower so I think it worked better. Thoughts?

What am I doing wrong?
I've been using the "horseshoe" on the MindMonitor app to tell if my connection is good. I see all five ovals light up, and the horseshoe disappears a moment later, so I assume everything is good. But then shouldn't delta waves be at the very bottom, with theta above them? June 24 2024 lis...

Longer meditation
I thought this meditation I listened to was going well, and I'm happy to see alpha high. But the delta should be down at the very bottom, shouldn't it? Listening to music good for alpha?
I had assumed that when I listen to music I'm THINKING about the music, and it wouldn't be a good way to get alpha waves to predominate. But I just did 10 minutes with the headband on and I was surprised to see alpha dominating the entire time... more so than when I was trying to actually meditate y...

Re: Noob looking for assistance
Also noob, also looking for assistance! The app is easy to figure out, and getting the absolute and relative brain wave chart. And I think I can interpret mine well enough to see that I managed to get alpha higher than the others for a few seconds at a time, and delta and theta mostly stayed low. I ...
